Wow, long time no update, and there's a lot of news! At last, the perpetually nearly-finished Brettrix has been released. It's a free brick game with a whole lot of options and an amusing mascot.

The second day of the developers conference indeed came to pass, and if I remember correctly it was as good as the first day apart from the burglar alarm cutting short our Jaguar demo. Never mind, I have Jaguar now. A few people from the conference started up a developers' group, which next meets on the 11th of this month. After that the next event to look forward to is the Apple Update.

I have removed the link to Block Factor as the website has gone offline, but I'll see what I can do about that... Rob of Block Factor ought to have a page here since he's the Rix in Brettrix.

I've created a few very small apps recently which I'll probably put up here soon... the sort of things which I spend 20 minutes making in order to save the 5 minutes it would take to do the job myself. As such they'll be grouped together on the one page with source code.

I've rearranged this site a little so the news is separate from the about page. I've also released a new beta of Altscape Media Manager, which should appear on the Altscape download page any day now. I've already had suggestions for improving it, but the bugs of the first beta (most importantly, the fact that it wouldn't work for some passwords due to the wierd encryption) have been fixed.

I'm really looking forward to the second annual South Pacific Mac Developers' Conference, the first one was great!

I released the source code for Image Sizer since it is a very simple example of a document-based application. Now any of the software down the left side of the page which has the Project Builder icon () next to it has source code available for download.

Frustrated once more about having to wait for GraphicConverter to start up just so I could find out the dimensions of an image to put into a web page, I quickly wrote a utility called Image Sizer to not only tell me the image size but make the HTML tag for me. I also moved this News section above the About section so it's easier to see what's new.

The first Altscape Media/Scene Manager beta has been released. Hopefully a lot of people will download it so that I can find out about any bugs as soon as possible.
